The beautiful island of Kefalonia, the largest in the Ionian Sea, has been captured by a drone video.
The drone flies over locations such as Myrtos Beach, Fiscardo, Melissani cave, Argostoli, Assos, The Venetian Castle ruins, Mount Ainos and Petani Beach.
The island, chosen for filming the Hollywood movie Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, is as diverse as it is vast.
From the farmland and vineyards of the Paliki Peninsula, to the sheer cliffs and rocky shoreline of the north, Kefalonia is filled with surprises.
The inhabitants of Kefalonia have a reputation for being the wittiest Greeks – always ready with a joke — but also with a smile and a helping hand.
